Our History
Dealer.com started in 1998, when company founder and CEO Mark Bonfigli was operating a New England-based retail dealership called EARTHCARS. As a dealer, Mark understood the need for more measurable and effective marketing programs and recognized the opportunity to connect with buyers on the burgeoning Internet.
Early on, Mark realized that a comprehensive online strategy including an innovative website would be pivotal for success online. Designing from a dealer's point of view, he understood the importance of generating leads; search engine optimization; user-friendly customer and lead management tools; and highly detailed, but easy to use, analytical tools. The Dealer.com platform philosophy was born.
Since then, Dealer.com has created thousands of automotive websites and provided its products and services to dealerships throughout North America, helping them to generate the maximum ROI from their advertising and marketing programs. Dealer.com continues to grow as more dealers recognize that collaborating with us is a cost-efficient way to take their dealership to an entirely new level of success.Because we want to operate at our maximum capacity, the Dealer.com culture is one that favors a healthy lifestyle and we believe in doing our part to maintain environmentally sustainable business practices.
Our Burlington-based headquarters comprise a 135,000 square foot revitalized building that is certified by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™, which encourages the global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices. We have a sports complex that features an indoor tennis and basketball court, full gym with cardio and strength training equipment, world class ping-pong table, 150-person theater and an on-site organic café.
In 2011, Dealer.com opened its West Coast office in Manhattan Beach, California. The ocean front offices support the company's rapid growth and provides more local service to the company's West Coast customers.
