Company Included on Prestigious Honor Roll for Consecutive Rankings

August 28, 2013 (Burlington, VT) – Dealer.com, a leading provider of marketing and operations software and services for the automotive industry, has once again been named to the annual Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.  This year’s inclusion marks the seventh time that Dealer.com has been named to the list for year-over-year sales growth in excess of 30 percent since 2008, qualifying the company for the list’s prestigious honor roll.  Dealer.com is among the top seven percent of companies on this year’s list to rank seven or more consecutive times.

“In the past 15 years, Dealer.com not only survived the dot com bubble and burst, we thrived by providing the best product with the best service to an industry in need of forward-thinking online marketing software,” said Rick Gibbs, CEO of Dealer.com. “Our success is rooted in our core values of delivering unparalleled service, support, and technology – underpinned by an incredible, untraditional corporate culture that allows us to relentlessly push the boundaries of what’s possible.  We are thrilled to be named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list again and be widely recognized for our successful growth strategy.”

Dealer.com increased its total revenue last year by 44 percent over 2011 to approximately $183 million.

“Not all the companies in the Inc. 500 | 5000 are in glamorous industries, but in their fields they are as famous as household name companies simply by virtue of being great at what they do. They are the hidden champions of job growth and innovation, the real muscle of the American economy,” says Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg.

The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2012. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million.  Companies that rank five or more times receive the Honor Roll designation.  As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at www.Inc.com/500.
